The Drifting Destinies Story
The lake becomes the leaf’s entire world: a confined universe of chance and circumstance. Each leaf has fallen from a tree unknown, its journey unplanned, its destination uncertain—much like the paths that bring people into and out of our own lives. Along that journey, it may glide across still water mirroring its form, or be carried over ripples stirred by external winds. These changing conditions serve as metaphors for the moments of reflection, disruption, and renewal that mark our shared human story.
Captured in high-contrast infrared, the unseen depths beneath the surface are obscured, directing attention to the delicate interactions above: the visible layer of existence. This abstraction transforms the familiar into something timeless, focusing on light, texture, and composition rather than literal representation. Each title—Chaos, Balance, Eternity, Kinship, and others—serves not as a literal description but as an open doorway to introspection, allowing viewers to discover their own meanings within the drift.
